3 students collaboratively construct a robot

The future of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) is taking shape right now in Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) with the new Secondary Robotics Collaboration Day! This initiative brings the robotics and drone teams from Janitell and Grand Mountain Junior Highs together for dedicated, half-day sessions focused on teamwork and knowledge-sharing. They are committed to meeting continuously all school year. Students are able to share solutions, experience different practice spaces, and practice communication.

"Our robotics students are working incredibly hard, and this collaboration day exposes them not just to advanced technical skills, but to the collaborative nature of the real-world STEM field," said Janitell’s Robotics Coach Carpio.

WSD3 is ensuring its students are building a strong foundation for success in competitive robotics and beyond!
