Elementary students are currently ALL distance learning starting Tuesday, November 17th and ending Friday, November 20th. After Thanksgiving break, starting Monday, November 30th, only students in grades 3 - 5 will be distance learning, and grades k - 2 will be in-person, and grades 3 - 5 will be distance learning until January 15th, 2021 as of right now.
For now, the distance learning schedule is as follows (this schedule will change after the week of November 16th - 20th):

This time can also be used to work with a small group of kids who need more support/extension or to check in with.

Conference time is to be used daily to meet with kids that may need more support with a lesson/skill.

Student Expectations

Students are expected to participate in distance learning daily and at designated times.

Students do not have to have cameras on during distance learning, but their names should show up in the conference videos.

Students can show participation by partaking in conversations in the chat, verbal audio, and completing assignments/tasks.

Distance learning has the same rules as there are when in person for school.

Completion of assignments and tasks will be graded as they are for school and count toward your quarterly grades.

Remember that ALL STUDENT ACTIVITY is monitored if the student is logged in with his/her student account or is using a WSD3 device; to include emails, browser search and view history, and chat conversations.
