A new round of after-school activities begin next week! Check out what's being offered!

GMS Families-

A new round of after-school activities will begin next week Tuesday, February 23 at 3:00 pm. Please see below for more information. We are in hopes to continue to add to these in the near future. Thank you for your continued support of GMS activities and we look forward to seeing you soon!

CO-ED VOLLEYBALL SKILLS & DRILLS 

CO-ED volleyball will run from Tuesday, February 23 thru Friday, February 26. Students in COHORT A will attend Tues/Wed 23/24 February, and COHORT B students will attend on Thurs/Fri 25/26 Feb. ALL sessions will take place from 3:00-4:00 pm in the school gym. Permission slips can be obtained in the front office or at the first session. These will need to be completed and returned to the front office or Ms. Miranda Taylor. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the school. For those students who cannot leave and return, a supervised area will be available for study hall sessions to take place. Locker rooms are unavailable. Masks will be required AT ALL TIMES while the sessions are taking place, and spectators ARE NOT allowed.  Please plan on entering the gym through the north doors, and COVID screening will take place PRIOR to entering the gym. For questions, please contact Ms. Taylor at 719-391-3470 or taylorm@wsd3.org.

ART CLUB

Art Club will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and Friday, Feb. 26 for COHORT A & COHORT B respectively, from 3:00-4:00 pm. COVID regulations only allow for 24 face-2-face students to participate at a time, and interest is high! With this in mind, students will need to reserve a seat by signing-up the DAY BEFORE their respective cohort day. Sign-up sheets and participation sheets can be obtained from Ms. Selke in the Art Room (rm. 254). Masks will be required AT ALL TIMES while the sessions are taking place, and COVID screening will take place PRIOR to entering the room. Please plan on entering through the NORTH activities hallway door. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the school. For those students who cannot leave and return, a supervised area will be available for study hall sessions to take place. POETRY/CREATIVE WRITING CLUB

Poetry/Creative Writing Club will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and Thursday, Feb. 2 for COHORT A & COHORT B respectively, from 3:00-4:00 pm. Sessions will be held in Ms. Kanyali's room (rm. 332). Masks will be required AT ALL TIMES while the sessions are taking place, and COVID screening will take place PRIOR to entering the room. Please plan on entering through the SOUTH 7/8th grade tower doors. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from the school. For those students who cannot leave and return, a supervised area will be available for study hall sessions to take place.
