“Creating a Grand Community with Communication and Support”
The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a vital component in bridging the gap between parents, teachers, staff, and students within the Grand Mountain community. As the founding PTO for Grand Mountain School, it is our hope that we can set a standard of excellence built upon integrity and trust for future boards and members.
Our mission is to enhance communication and trust between parents and the school by effectively building authentic relationships. In this mission we serve as positive advocates on behalf of both teachers and parents in building an effective community for our students.
In this, our first year, we’ve already hit the ground running with organizing and executing the construction of Grand Mountain’s very first float entry in the Widefield D3 Parade and Community Day! We’ve also launched our first official fundraiser, through the sale of GMS Parade Day t-shirts. Our team is eager to contribute to the continued growth and success of our school and students with tons of amazing ideas for events and fundraising opportunities that are sure to keep our community engaged!
As teachers and staff, you comprise the foundation of what truly makes GMS grand. We’re here to help in any way that we can, and we truly believe that with communication and support, we have all the building blocks needed to truly stand out as a fixture within our community.
Again, we’re here to help! Whether it’s organizing supply closets, stapling papers, or funneling information to keep parents connected and informed. Please do not hesitate to reach out!
We can be located on Facebook via the links below.
We look forward to working with you, and here’s to a GRAND first year!
