The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a vital component in bridging the gap between parents, teachers, staff, and students within the Grand Mountain community. As the founding PTO for Grand Mountain School, it is our hope that we can set a standard of excellence built upon integrity and trust for future boards and members.
Our mission is to enhance communication and trust between parents and the school by effectively building authentic relationships. In this mission we serve as positive advocates on behalf of both teachers and parents in building an effective community for our students.
In this, during our first year of opening, we hit the ground running with organizing and executing the construction of Grand Mountain’s very first float entry in the Widefield D3 Parade and Community Day! We also won the contest! (Go Mavericks!). Our team is eager to contribute to the continued growth and success of our school and students with tons of amazing ideas for events and fundraising opportunities that are sure to keep our community engaged!
